7CA Transfer Portal – Important Information

The 7CA Transfer Portal is designed to help connect players, parents, captains, and teams within the Fieldstone tennis community for upcoming ALTA and USTA seasons.

Players looking for a team, captains looking for players, or individuals interested in becoming captains may submit their information through the portal. Our goal is to help create opportunities for new teams and assist existing teams with roster completion.

Important Notes:

• Submitting information through the portal DOES NOT guarantee placement on a team or guarantee that a new team will be created.

• Team formation depends on several factors outside of 7CA’s control, including:

  • Number of interested players

  • Player level compatibility

  • ALTA/USTA roster deadlines

  • Availability of courts and schedules

  • Availability of resident captains

• In many cases, teams cannot be created simply because there are not enough players at a specific level or because there is no resident available to captain the team.

• Fieldstone teams generally require a resident captain in order to officially register and manage the team.

• Parents or players interested in helping as captains or co-captains are strongly encouraged to indicate this in the listing form. Volunteer captains are extremely important to the success and growth of the program.

• 7CA acts as a facilitator to help organize information, connect players and captains, and support the growth of tennis within the community. However, 7CA is not responsible for guaranteeing team placement, roster spots, or team creation.

• Our program will always do its best to:

  • Help connect players with teams

  • Assist captains with finding players

  • Encourage the creation of new teams

  • Communicate important registration deadlines

  • Support the growth of junior and adult tennis participation

• Non-resident players are required to pay a $40 non-resident fee per team, per season.

In order to participate on ALTA or USTA teams, all players must be properly registered with the corresponding league and have an active ALTA or USTA account/number before being added to a roster by a captain.

• Players and parents are responsible for completing their league registration and maintaining an active membership if required by ALTA or USTA.

• Captains cannot add players to official rosters without the player’s valid ALTA or USTA number.

• Registration deadlines are extremely important. Once ALTA or USTA roster deadlines close, additional players may not be added.
